Is it appropriate to give a gift for Navaratri? I have a Hindu friend I'd like to be respect, not offend.
Depending on your answer, what might be an appropriate way for me, a Christian, to acknowledge and celebrate this holiday with my friend?

Respect him and his religion , Vedanta can be very profound, but just be yourself, and you may certainly give a gift if you want, but you don't have to. Jonnie PS Ignore that ignorant idiot that accused you of blasphemy ... stupid. Jesus is with you ... not him, sadly.
