Navarathri is nine worshiping nights to navashakthi.Actually its to empower the nine innerpower of human. Power is always with all of the human being. We do not sense the power. Navarathri is the practice of sensing our own inner power.A person with out knowing his inner power is like a student sitting an examination and reading the question paper but he is not cabable to understand and answer any questions. Therefore the NAvarathri is very important festival to aware our self and improve our inner power.

To celebrate the victory of good over evil. The Goddess fought to kill the Asuras all the 9 days and succeeded. It showed "strength". Shakti. And how it wins. Also respect for "women" who are all Shaktis. We need to ignite that within us.
